Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

This is a draft version of our terms, published for transparency while SautiLume is in early prototype stage. It will be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch, and it is not a substitute for legal advice.

What SautiLume is

SautiLume is a voice-first health information prototype built for blind and visually impaired young people in Kenya. It gives verified information about sexual and reproductive health, mental health, menstrual hygiene, consent, and where to find real health services, spoken back by voice.

SautiLume is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. It shares verified information and referrals only. Always consult a licensed health professional for medical decisions, and in an emergency, contact local emergency services or the helplines listed in the app.

Who can use SautiLume

SautiLume is designed for adolescents and young people aged 10 to 30. If you are under 18, we encourage you to also involve a parent, guardian, or trusted adult in decisions about your health, while respecting that some of the information SautiLume shares is by nature private.
